After years of speculation and multiple appearances on WWE television, Ronda Rousey could be just one signature away from beginning her career in professional wrestling. According to a new report from USA Today, the UFC trailblazer and pop culture icon is “finalizing details” of her contract with WWE.

The move has been expected for some time now, with Rousey’s career in MMA all but officially over. At one point she was considered the greatest female fighter on the planet, literally bringing the Bantamweight division to UFC after their absorption of Strikeforce and holding the title for more than three years. She was also a massive box office draw for the company, and has ventured outside of the combat sports world for movies like Entourage, The Expendable 3, and Furious 7.

That all changed when Rousey suffered a devastating loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193, ending her undefeated streak and dropping the Bantamweight Championship. She was unsuccessful in winning back the title against Amanda Nunes one year later, and now UFC President Dana White is even saying he doesn’t want to see Ronda back in the octagon.

Rousey appeared at WrestleMania 31 in a segment with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, taking down Stephanie McMahon in the middle of a WWE ring. She also accompanied her best friend Shayna Baszler – who is set to debut in NXT very soon – during the Mae Young Classic earlier this year, coming face to face with Charlotte Flair and the self-proclaimed “Four Horsewomen” of pro wrestling.
