WWE.com Confirms Jamie Noble’s Injury On RAW

UPDATE: WWE.com posted the following after RAW went off the air on Monday night:

Jamie Noble suffered an injury at the hands of Brock Lesnar during The Beast’s brawl with The Authority at the end of Raw, WWE.com has confirmed.

Noble’s condition is currently being evaluated. Please stay with WWE.com for more updates as they become available.

Once again, we should have more on this story on Tuesday morning and whether it’s the real deal or storyline-related. As of now, it seems legitimate but stay tuned.

ORIGINAL: Jamie Noble was either injured or part of an off-camera injury angle during the conclusion of Monday night’s edition of WWE RAW.

After Brock Lesnar slam Noble into the barricade outside of the ring, Noble remained motionless for several moments until ringside officials attended to him.

Joey Mercury ended up making it back into the ring for The Authority’s attack on Lesnar, however Noble was never shown on camera again.

Ultimately, Noble was stretchered out of the arena and to the back.

We should have more on this story on Tuesday morning.

Below is a photo from RAW of the WWE medical crew preparing to load Noble onto a stretcher.

– As noted earlier here on the website, Tyson Kidd is scheduled to undergo neck surgery this week.

Kidd was injured while working a pre-RAW dark match against Samoa Joe in Joe’s first ever WWE dark match a few weeks ago. Following the match, the general belief was that the injury wasn’t anyone’s fault, and was just a case of an accident resulting in what could potentially be a very significant injury.

Kidd posted the following photo of himself with Natalya from the hospital, with the caption reading: “A little pre-op today. Grateful to have my best friend by my side. In 36 hours I unleash my mutant healing powers… ”

Ex-TNA Writer: ‘Dolph Ziggler Is Heading To TNA Shortly!’

Former TNA creative member Jason Cook posted to Facebook claiming that Dolph Ziggler is going to TNA once his WWE contract expires. Cook posted, “I know for a fact that Dolph is TNA bound. It’s been in motion for months already.”

He added in a later comment, “I’m telling you Ziggler has been praising the Tna shows for over a year. Even said impact was more entertaining than raw. Yes he said that and it got back to WWE and he’s been in limbo ever since. He’s made it clear with people in TNA that he wants in once his deal is up. Just watch”

Court Bauer said over the weekend that he thought Ziggler would leave once his contract is up, saying, “Dolph’s deal is up in a few months and he has indicated informally that unless he gets a big push, he may leave like [Johnny] Mundo.”

We’ve been reporting for several months now that Ziggler hasn’t been happy in WWE for quite some time now. He’s been very open to his co-workers that he likely won’t re-sign with the company unless things drastically change with the way he’s currently being booked. Honestly, can you blame the guy?!

We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.

WWE’s Official Statement On ‘Nature Boy’ Buddy Landel’s Passing

UPDATE: WWE issued a statement on the passing of pro wrestling “The Nature Boy” Buddy Landel, who passed away on Monday at age 53.

WWE’s official statement reads as follows:

“WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of William Ansor, aka “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel.

Landel made his in-ring debut in 1979, performing in regional promotions before signing in 1985 with the NWA’s Jim Crockett Promotions. With flowing blond locks, glittering robes and WWE Hall of Famer J.J. Dillon in his corner, Landel set his sights on then-NWA World Champion “Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Though he left Crockett Promotions by the end of the year, Landel left his mark, defeating Terry Taylor at Starrcade 1985 to capture the NWA National Championship.

Landel continued to compete in various promotions in Tennessee and Alabama, then returned to the NWA in 1990 to face off with Flair in a “Battle of the Nature Boys,” before moving on to compete in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. He also made brief appearances in WWE in 1995 and 1996.

WWE extends its condolences to Landel’s family, friends and fans.”

ORIGINAL: Wrestling legend “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel passed away on Monday at the age of fifty-three. Details are still sketchy but reports claim that Landel was in a car accident this past weekend and returned home. He was then found unresponsive today.

Landel was known for his work in the Southern wrestling promotions, with runs in Mid-Atlantic, WCW, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, the USWA and others. After he got past some personal issues his Smokey Mountain Wrestling run became a highlight and he faces then-WWE Intercontinental champion Shawn Michaels at the last big SMW show, the Super Bowl of Wrestling. Landel nearly had a WWF run when he signed in 1995, but had a freak knee injury immediately after starting. He returned to the business a year later, wrestling in the indies.

On behalf of everyone here on the website, our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Mr. Landel.
