John Cena’s New Movie Slammed By Critics
“Daddy’s Home 2”, the new comedy sequel featuring John Cena, was number two at the box office this past weekend. The movie opened with a $30 million weekend, coming in behind “Thor”, which was number one taking in $56.6 million.
Despite a decent opening weekend at the box office, the movie is being slammed by critics and audiences, as it currently has a 17% rating on the movie aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes. The site notes the consensus is that the movie is a “formulaic comedy that’s unlikely to spread much yuletide merriment, Daddy’s Home 2 can only muster a few stray yuks from its talented cast.”
Backstage News on Plans for WWE Smackdown Tonight
According to F4WOnline.com, the current plan for WWE Smackdown tonight is to do a Raw invasion of the show, so The Red Brand can retaliate for the “undersiege” attacks that The Blue Brand has enacted in the past couple weeks. WWE likely would have done the Raw retaliation angle sooner, but they were unable to do so with the overseas and UK tours.
